I would recommend working out 3-4 times a weeks for an hour. 30 minutes is better than nothing, but I don’t think it’s enough. Your body starts burning fat only after the first 20 minutes of working out, so 30 minutes is good for your health but not enough if you want to see results, unless you do really hard core cardio for 30 minutes straight with almost no breaks.
There is such a thing as working out too much. I would say 2 hours a day every day is too much.
